How much does Redline PDF cost?

Redline Free is $0 and covers review markup — clouds, callouts, text, stamps, pen and highlighter — with up to 3 saved drawings and a flattened PDF export. Redline Plus is $9 a month or $90 a year and adds clean and editable PDF exports, printing, page tools, the markup summary, revision comparison and calibrated length and area, with up to 25 drawings. Redline Pro is $15 a month or $150 a year and adds full takeoff — counts, volumes, deductions, Dynamic Fill, building elements, the CSV and estimates — editing the PDF itself, and unlimited drawings. Every plan has 2 GB of workspace storage. Every account begins with 30 days of Pro, no card. Then Free unless you choose Plus or Pro; your drawings stay.

Prices are US dollars and are the prices at checkout, which Paddle runs as merchant of record.

Nothing in Redline is held back.

Every account starts with 30 days of Pro, no card. Then Free unless you choose Plus or Pro; your drawings stay. The Revu 20 switch offer runs for accounts opened by 31 January 2027.

Which plan?

Not sure yet? The trial is Pro, so you can use all of it on your own drawings before you choose.

Redline PDF's editor on the sample drawing A101 in the Takeoff tab: a 15000 mm length across the plan, two shaded rooms measured at 16.99 and 16.41 square metres, a revision cloud with a callout on the meeting room, and the markups list below the sheet with each measurement.
Actual editor capture: the Takeoff tab on the sample drawing, with a length and two areas measured after calibration. Calibrated length and area are in Plus and Pro; counts, volumes and the CSV are in Pro.
Redline PDF's editor after the sequence: the sample drawing calibrated, with a length and an area measured and listed in the markups panel.
Actual editor capture, fourteen seconds, muted: calibrate the sheet, measure a length and an area, export as editable PDF annotations. Everything in it is in Plus and Pro, and in the trial.

What happens when the trial ends?

Nothing is charged, because no card was taken. Your account moves to Free unless you have chosen a plan, and every drawing stays where it is. If you made more than 3 during the trial you keep all of them and can go on editing them; Free only stops you adding another. Measurements and building elements you already placed stay on the sheet, and can still be moved or deleted.

How the price compares

ToolPer person, per yearMeasurement, as the vendor describes it
Redline Plus$90Calibrated length and area
Redline Pro$150Calibrated takeoff with volumes, counts, deductions and Dynamic Fill
Bluebeam Revu$260 to $590, depending on planLength and area in Basics; perimeter, angles and volume from Core; Dynamic Fill from Complete
Adobe Acrobat Pro$239.88 prepaidDistance, area and perimeter

Do I need a credit card to try Redline Pro?

No. The 30-day Pro trial takes no card and no billing details of any kind. Because nothing was taken, nothing can be charged when it ends: the account simply becomes Redline Free.

Can I change plans later?

Yes, from your workspace: between Plus and Pro in either direction, and between monthly and yearly billing. Paddle charges or credits the difference for the rest of the period straight away, so nothing is paid twice.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, from your workspace, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Billed time is not refunded, which is why the trial comes first and asks for nothing. The refunds page sets out the detail.

Is the yearly plan cheaper than paying monthly?

Yes. A year costs ten months: Pro is $150 a year against $180 paid monthly, and Plus $90 against $108. A plan is the same plan either way; nothing is held back from the monthly one.

Paying

Checkout is run by Paddle, who show the tax and the exact amount in your currency before you confirm anything. You can cancel from your workspace at any time. Billed time is not refunded, which is why the trial comes first and asks for nothing.

Try it on the sample drawing

Redline runs in the browser — nothing to install. Open the demo to try tools on a sample drawing. Demo edits are temporary; your own files, saving, signatures, exporting, printing and downloads come with an account, which starts with 30 days of Pro, no card. Then Free unless you choose Plus or Pro; your drawings stay. Plus is $9 a month or $90 a year; Pro is $15 a month or $150 a year. Compare the plans.
