Bluebeam for Mac,
what works in 2026.
Revu for Mac is gone, but Bluebeam has not left Mac users with nothing. This is what Bluebeam itself says works on a Mac today, what still needs Windows, and where Redline fits.
Can you run Bluebeam Revu on a Mac?
Not as a native Mac application. Revu for Mac reached end of life on 28 June 2023 and new seats are no longer sold. Bluebeam's own answer for Mac users today is Bluebeam Web in a browser, which opens PDFs, places markups and takes measurements, and the Bluebeam iOS app, which views drawings and places markups — or running Revu for Windows in a virtual machine, for example with Parallels, for the full desktop toolset. Bluebeam lists drawing-scale markups, custom markups and its full measurement and takeoff tools under that virtual-machine route.
Redline is the other route: it runs in a Mac browser with the same toolset it has anywhere else, including calibrated takeoff, with nothing to install and no Windows licence. All Bluebeam details here are from Bluebeam's own pages, checked 4 October 2026.

Bluebeam also says Revu for Windows remains its flagship desktop application and that the web is not replacing it: web and iOS cover review, markup and basic measurement.

Is there a version of Bluebeam for Mac in 2026?
There is no current native Mac release. Revu for Mac's final version came out in December 2019 and the product reached end of life on 28 June 2023; Revu for iPad was discontinued at the end of 2025. What Bluebeam offers Mac users now is Bluebeam Web and the iOS app, which also runs on Apple silicon Macs.
Can I do PDF takeoff on a Mac without running Windows?
Yes, with a browser tool. Redline Pro does calibrated lengths, areas, perimeters, volumes, counts and angles, with deductions, Dynamic Fill and live totals, in Safari, Chrome or Edge on any Mac — Intel or Apple silicon — and exports a CSV or a PDF carrying editable annotations. No virtual machine and no Windows licence.
Where Redline fits
Redline runs in the browser, so on a Mac you get exactly the toolset you would get on Windows. With Pro that means calibrated lengths, areas, volumes and counts with deductions, Dynamic Fill and live totals, alongside clouds, callouts and stamps, and export as standard PDF annotations or a flattened PDF. There is no virtual machine, no Windows licence and nothing to install. Every account starts with 30 days of Pro, no card (plans and prices). The Revu 20 switch offer runs for accounts opened by 31 January 2027.
If you mainly review and measure drawings yourself, a browser tool is the simpler route on a Mac: nothing to install or virtualise, and the same toolset as on Windows.
